| We have our own cats and dog who are all very much part of the Pepper House experience, and who have the run of the house but are not allowed in guest bedrooms. So keep your bedroom door shut, otherwise they will be joining you! |

| Outside, we have a horse called Oliver and a small number of Herdwick and Swaledale sheep, who sometimes provide lambs for our freezer. Very often we have other lambs to bottle-feed in the paddock below the garden. |

The Bird man
One of our neighbours Bob Fletcher is well known in the area for his paintings of the local wildlife. He also rescues and rehabilitates birds of prey. A visit to his studio is a fascinating experience. |
